SM 8312 TL-RCB and SM 9314 TL-KCB – FELLA's new rear-mounted mower combinations with belt conveyor and ISOBUS control for the highest standards

The SM 8312 TL-RCB with a working width of 8.30 m and a roller conditioner, as well as the SM 9314 TL-KCB with a working width of 9.30 m and a tine rotor conditioner combine the benefits of the tried-and-tested FELLA mower combinations with conveyor belts with an up-to-date ISOBUS control system for the most demanding sector worked by large farms, agricultural contractors and biogas producers.

With the ISOBUS control system integrated as standard in both butterfly mowers, the driver has a clear view of all the important machine parameters on the tractor terminal at all times. The individual functions can be easily controlled at the touch of a button. All mower functions, such as single lift, conveyor belt operation and slope function, can be operated using a terminal, and can be programmed, if necessary, on the control lever or joystick. Switching from the working position to the transport position is also completely automated.

Thanks to rotation speed monitoring using sensors, the driver can react to a possible overloading of the drive train in good time from the driver's seat.

FELLA has fulfilled customers' requirements for more comfort and powerful mowing technology by developing beMOVE, the hydraulic lateral movement system for belt conveyors. The beMOVE hydraulic lateral movement system is integrated into the deeper FELLA belt conveyor (940 x 2700 cm) with infinite belt adjustment. Using this system, swath gathering can be adjusted variably to the forage consistency. Regardless of whether there is a large or small quantity of forage, with beMOVE, FELLA enables the farmer to achieve optimum swath formation using the ISOBUS control system.

From the tightest position of the belt conveyor, the belts can each be pushed outwards by 300 mm using beMOVE, so that the passage for the forage is 600 mm larger. Thanks to tool-free adjustment, the driver can adapt the swath size perfectly to the harvesters following behind, or pick-up widths. Regardless of whether a loader wagon, a shredder or a baler is used, with beMOVE, the driver can bring flexibility to the harvesting chain. Thanks to the design of the wide belt with increased conveying effect, large volumes of forage such as whole crop silage for biogas plants can be harvested without problem.

Additional safety is provided by the SafetySwing collision protection device, which protects from damage caused by collision with objects. When the mower unit encounters an obstacle, it swings away backwards and upwards around a transverse axis and then gently falls back into the working position under its own weight.

The Turbo Lift system, which hydropneumatically relieves the load on the cutter bar evenly across the entire working width, is integrated on both mower combinations as standard. The contact pressure can be infinitely adjusted using a pressure relief valve. In this way, the mower can be adapted to the most varied of field conditions without any problems.

All in all, this is a unique combination from FELLA which makes harvesting easier and meets modern-day requirements in full.
