New tandem rollers from Hamm combine vibration and oscillation in one drum
The tandem rollers of the HD+ series have been a firm fixture in the product range of roller manufacturer Hamm for many years. Back in the summer of 2023, new models were launched spanning all weight classes, all featuring the relevant interfaces for digital applications. The Easy Drive operating concept was also introduced to machines with operating weights of 7 t and 8 t. In the shape of the HD+ 120i V-VIO, Hamm is adding another model capable of compacting with a choice of vibration or oscillation. The new tandem roller has been available in markets with exhaust emission standard EU Stage V/EPA Tier 4f since the start of 2024. Read more >>
GM and Komatsu collaborate on hydrogen fuel cell-powered mining truck
General Motors and Komatsu will co-develop a hydrogen fuel cell power module for Komatsu’s 930E electric drive mining truck, the world’s best-selling ultra-class haul truck. Major Belgian factory investment marks development of new harvester set to enhance arable farm efficiency
In a major development in high-capacity harvesting set to help large farms gather their crops more efficiently and more sustainably, New Holland Agriculture is to launch worldwide the new CR11 combine harvester, allowing farmers to cover more hectares in less time to use fuel as efficiently as possible – and all thanks to significant investment in the brand’s factory in Zedelgem, Belgium. The machine’s gentle threshing action minimizes damage to the grain, while new developments within the CR11 ensure almost all grain retained as it passes through the harvester, meaning losses are close to zero, with only straw and chaff exiting at the rear.
